Appropriation or Appreciation Workshop

Featured as a member of NITEMRKT in the Asian American Hip Hop Showcase, artist Jason Chu will present this workshop on issues of appropriation and creation. Chu will draw on his experiences as a Chinese American Hip Hop artist as well as historical and contemporary examples to help attendees articulate their own ethics of cultural interface and exchange.
